The Mobec EV 7 is a refined wall-mounted 7.4 kW AC EV charger that prioritises simplicity, safety, and aesthetics in equal measure. Engineered for residential garages, villa parking bays, and corporate wellness facilities, it provides single-phase Mode 3 charging at up to 32 A — delivering approximately 40–50 km of range per hour to most popular 4W EVs in the Indian market, including the Tata Nexon EV, MG Comet EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, and Kia EV6.

The plug-and-charge operation requires zero user interaction: connecting the Type 2 cable automatically initiates a handshake with the vehicle's EVSE controller, verifies readiness, and begins charging within 3 seconds. A proximity sensor detects cable insertion and disconnection, triggering the integrated contactor within 50 ms. The circular 7-inch RGB LED status ring communicates charge state through intuitive colour coding: white (standby), blue (initialising), green (charging), amber (scheduled), red (fault).

The Type 2 Mode 3 socket with cable retention clip and IP55 handle accepts all standard EV charge cables (tethered or untethered). The integrated Type A + Type B 30 mA RCD provides earth leakage protection without requiring a separate consumer unit RCD. Over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, and temperature protections are implemented in hardware, independent of the microcontroller, for fail-safe operation during firmware updates or software faults. The compact 250×180×100 mm form factor fits standard wall boxes and blends into garage interiors. Quick-connect terminal block enables professional installation within 15 minutes.
