The Mobec HOME ESS 29 kWh is a comprehensive whole-home residential energy storage system built for homeowners seeking complete energy independence, grid bill reduction, and reliable backup power. The 29 kWh usable LFP battery bank, assembled from Grade A prismatic cells with a cell-to-pack energy density of 165 Wh/kg, delivers a cycle life exceeding 6,000 cycles at 80% DoD — guaranteeing greater than 80% capacity retention for 16+ years under daily cycling conditions.

The integrated 5 kW multi-mode hybrid inverter supports grid-tie, off-grid, and solar charging modes simultaneously. The high-voltage DC bus architecture (380 V bus) minimises conversion losses, achieving a round-trip system efficiency of 94.5%. The dual MPPT solar charge controller (0–500 V input range, up to 8 kW PV array) maximises solar harvest across a full year of irradiance variation. A grid-tie export function supports net metering under MNRE regulations where permitted by the local DISCOM.

The Mobec EMS (Energy Management System) firmware implements Time-of-Use (ToU) arbitrage — automatically charging from the grid during low-tariff periods (typically 10 PM–6 AM) and discharging during high-tariff peak hours, typically reducing electricity bills by 35–55% for solar-integrated homes.
